It's been a while...
Just a few fun pages that I've done recently...

This card is using leftovers from the August A Page In Time kit... I loved this BoBunny paper!

And I did this with the Rusty Pickle Mayflower papers our of that same kit - YUMMY!

Really... I have been trying to scrap!
This is the best I've been able to muster. My mojo is mad at me - probably something I said, lol!

The picture is dd fishing with my dh a couple of years ago - he convinced her that dragonflies were good fishermen because they can hide and the fish would neve expect a thing. So she fished in her fairy wings. Must have worked because she came home with a garganutan fish (the stock this pond with smallish fish; the one she caugt clearly came in from somewhere else). I love this picture because dd's friend is obviously telling her some *very important* 4-year-old stuff.

Papers are my mind's eye and basic grey. stamps are fancy pants, autumn leaves, and heidi swapp. ink is colorbox.

I've been tagged!
Hey! My friend Mackey tagged me! I have finally ARRIVED, lol!

It looks like I have to post some rules, give you all some random info about me, then tag 7 others... So, here I go! Thanksfor thinking of me, Mackey - I can't believe it's taken me so long to catch this comment! Summer transition really has me out of it!

1. I'm really not much fun... Engineering manager by day, wife and mom of two by night, sleepy keeper of dogs late at night... lather, rinse, repeat, lol! My job has taught me lots about parenting and being fair, though.

2. I used to play ultimate disc. regularly. then along came kids, dogs, play with paper... oh, and I hurt my knee... now, I think about it from time to time, but I just know that I don't have the body for it any more. I miss the road trips and the team bonding that we had, but I feel that I walked away a winner - withutUltimate, my hubby and I would never have met.

3. I adore summertime because it means bare feet, sprinklers, sunshine and all things wonderful!!!

4. 1 year old puppies are insane. we have a chocolate lab pup. her favorite toy is a giant log that's about twice her length. she (evidently) can pick that thing up, swing it, and hold on with all her might so it can fling her into the yard. insane... yet very entertaining.

5. We bought a 68 mustang coupe several years ago. I love muscle cars and this one has a cobra engine in it (lots of muscle :) )... funny thing about being smallish, though (I'm 5'2 on a good day). The car is a stick shift and I can't seem to push the clutch in. I press with all my might and the best I get is pressed further into the seat. And so I ride along with my hubby... I need to try again this year because I'm not sure how much of my lack of success is fear of driving that thing...

6. When I was a kid, we would stand out in our back yard in late summer watching shooting stars. As an adult, I'm sure it was the Leonids... As a kid, I was pretty sure that it was a summertime show just for my birthday.

7. I've smiled a bunch thinking of things to write here... I hope I can learn some wonderful things about my 7 tagees (and I hope Mackey learned something about me)

I will tag: Anne Marie, Conny, Allison, Verna, Michelle, Michele, and Melissa

Just a couple of recent pages I've done... "Adore" was a design team project for Scraplovers.com and features Prism cardstock and Queen & Co. embellishemends (along with tons of other goodies); Kewl was just a fun page to do -- lots of Fancy Pants stuff there...

Anyway, family visits are over and I can't wait to get back to scrapping again! I am a stranger to my stash -- It seems like it's even been forever since I made a sketch!

The reorganization of things at Sketch Me If You Can is done, finally -- there are galleries with just about every sketch I've ever done (150+ of them) and the posts are now searchable. I did a RAK on my sketch site and was just overwhelmed with the response... It's so great to hear that people find inspiration there. Now, I just need to get better with posting the work that people send my way...

Oh, and I'm planning another RAK when my site counter gets a wee closer to 20,000 hits (so visit often, lol!)

Just a peek
Here's a peek at what's coming next month at A Page In Time... These are Crate Papers, but all three kits are WONDERFUL!! Check out Amy's club -- it's a great deal; I've loved every single kit. Thanks for looking!

Oh, and the photo is dd during a recent trip to Hawaii. She's such a cutie pie!
